Enhancing web accessibility for the CERN Single SignOn
During my internship at CERN, I contributed to the Single Sign-On (SSO) project, focusing on improving the usability and accessibility of the authentication system for individuals with disabilities.
I conducted hands-on accessibility testing using screen readers and keyboard navigation, and engaged directly with users to understand their experiences with the sign-in process.
Based on these insights, I implemented code fixes and enhancements in the main SSO repository, ensuring compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). My work directly improved the daily experience of thousands of CERN users, making account access more inclusive, efficient, and user-friendly.
